During baseball season we drag Talan from one baseball game to another. None of them his own!
Between Bradon and Carsten's games alone, we are talking roughly 12 games a week!

One of the down sides to being child #5 is that mom and dad aren't super excited about signing you up to be on a team of your your very own at age 5. You see, they are super busy with #1's football practices and weights, #2's baseball practices and games, #3's baseball practices and games, and #4's soccer practices, games and piano lessons. Not to mention school activities and mutual. Needless to say, #5 doesn't get to start playing organized sports at age 3 like the rest of them. #5 gets to wait until kindergarten. Assuming that #1 will have a drivers license by then! You get the drift!
Well, Talan can hardly wait until it's his turn!
He was bent out of shape that he didn't have a pair of cleats. Everyone else has a pair of cleats! So we took a trip to Deseret Industries and luckily found a nice pair of cleats for Talan. He was then bent out of shape that he didn't have a bat bag. Bradon and Carsten have bat bags! Luckily Carsten's team got new team bags and so Carsten's last years bag was available! Then he needed stuff to put in his bat bag! Luckily we've been at this baseball thing for a few years now so we had plenty of extra things to go around. It got to where we made sure to bring Talan's bat bag to all the games. He would suit up and head to the field. The funny thing was that he would always seem to find kids to play with. If there was ever an empty field, we would find Talan with a bunch of straggling kids playing a little pick up game. Or they would just be off to the side playing! Obviously he's not the only child #5 in these parts!
