Carsten played super league baseball for the Raptures.
This team had some pretty sweet uniforms, but that was about it! We didn't know what we were in for when we joined this team. It was a learning experience for sure! We met some cute kids and nice parents, but the skill level was… well, lacking to say the least. And unfortunately, the coaching was even worse! I learned to stand next to the dugout so that my presence could be felt. The coach was very negative and belittling to the kids, especially to his own son. None of the parents seemed to want to stand up to him, so I took it upon myself to be "That Parent" for the sake of the kids.
Carsten was quickly one of the team standouts!
In comparison to the other boys, Carsten could do it all!
He caught, he pitched, he hit, he could really play whatever position he wanted! So in that regard it was a great year. However, in every other aspect it was hard to watch!
Carsten loves to play baseball!
When you play super league, you get to play a lot of baseball!
So Carsten was one happy boy!
