Talan loves to say the prayer.
Every night when we say family prayers Talan wants to say it. So after one of us says the prayer, Talan gets his turn. He bows his head, folds his arms real tight and says, "Father.....Church.....Amen!"
Tonight like every other night, Talan began throwing a fit as soon as someone else started saying the family prayer. So when the prayer was over we all looked at Talan and said, "Okay, Talan's turn!" And he began. But much to our surprise his prayer was different. Tonight he said, "Father.....School.....Marcus.....Amen!"
Too cute!
While at church he also thinks that every prayer should be his turn. A few weeks ago as they began to say the Sacrament prayer Talan started throwing a fit. "I do it! My turn!" When the prayer was over the family behind us leaned over and quietly asked what it was he wanted. I told them that he wanted to say the Sacrament prayer. "He thinks that it's his turn and that he's the one who should be saying it!" They thought that was pretty funny!
