This year for Halloween Talan got a little pumpkin at preschool. As soon as he got home with it he insisted that we carve it immediately! So we did!
Such a cute little jack-o-lantern!
The night before Halloween we carved the pumpkins that we grew in our garden.
All the kids did exceptional carving jobs!
The Jr. High kids were allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school this year. Ethan of course wouldn't be caught dead in a costume at school but Bradon was happy to wear one!
Reagan was Cleopatra!
Reagan's friend Callie is much taller than Reagan. So for the past few Halloween's Reagan has worn the costume that Callie wore the year before. Lucky for me, Reagan is more than happy to wear it!
Our awesome ninja turtle!
TALAN
Talan was going to be a power ranger this year with the red power ranger costume we had from when Carsten was 4. But when Halloween came around the power ranger costume was nowhere to be found. So Talan decided that he wanted to be the RED teenage mutant ninja turtle. I went to Walmart and found the very last of the RED turtles! I counted that to be one lucky day!
Every year the elementary school has a costume parade.
Jeannine and I went to see the kids.
Our cute little Cleopatra!
REAGAN
And tough guy football player!
CARSTEN
I'll never figure out why all the football playing kids have to be football players for Halloween!
On Halloween night we went trick or treating together as a family (well everyone but Carsten) since Jeannine was home to pass out the candy. David was excited to be apart of the trick or treating fun! And just for the record, Ethan dressed as a football player in a green jersey as we walked the neighborhood.
