Hanging out

Ethan and Talan were just hanging out watching TV together!
Look at those faces!  Ethan is doing his new cool don't show my teeth when I smile look, and Talan is looking a little bit concerned.  But in reality they were both just chilling having a good time together!  Doing what they both like best! Watching the tube!

Spring Tulips

Our tulips are finally in full bloom!
I took Reagan outside in her new outfit she got for her birthday from her Grandma Adair to take pictures with the tulips.  She sat in the grass and gave me a little smile for the first picture, and then she acted all sad and shy after that.  I don't know what got into her!  She is usually so thrilled to have her picture taken.  Well, despite her little attitude, I think that her little sad picture turned out to be adorable!  What a cutie!

Going to the game.

Talan and his stroller.
I thought this was so funny.  Look at this stroller!
Could we pack anything else on it?
The other day we took our kids for family night to see our neighbor play in his school baseball game at American Fork High School.  This is what our stroller looked like as we packed up to go back to the car.

Ethan is just chilling, eating some peanuts!
We got a new camera and this is the first time trying it out.

It's one of those cameras that will take like 3 pictures a second.  Real action shots!  This is a picture of Bradon tossing up a baseball.  Now that's action all right!

Carsten is always trying to be a clown.  This time he must be an elephant eating a peanut!  Cute kid!

Reagan is a doll!  Always ready to pose for a picture!

This is our neighbor Jake, and the boys!  The boys think Jake is so cool!  And he is!  He's in HIGH SCHOOL!  Jake's a cute kid, a good kid too!

A for American Fork, or ADAIR!
Just look at that personality!

Reagan's 4th Birthday!

Yesterday was Reagan's birthday!
Reagan had a Strawberry Shortcake party!
This is her birthday cake that I decorated for her.
I think that it turned out pretty cute!
We had a special visitor come to the party.
It was Strawberry Shortcake herself!
All the girls were in ah when they saw Strawberry Shortcake walk in.
They just starred at her and got real quiet!
Strawberry Shortcake is Reagan's 2nd cousin Elise.
We colored pictures of Strawberry Shortcake and then laminated them to make place mats.
This is Reagan's friend Nyah working hard on her masterpiece!
After the place mats were complete, we had a little treat!
We had little sandwiches, strawberries, and a yummy ice cream soda drink.  We used Red Vines licorice for straws!
This is Reagan's 2nd cousin Vanessa enjoying her drink!
After we were finished with our treats we went outside to bust the pinata open!  Reagan got to go first!  She gave it a big left handed swing.  She's a tough girl with all those brothers!
Finally, last but not least our guest of honor smashed the pinata open in Strawberry Shortcake like fashion!  Strawberry Shortcake was a hit!
The girls went crazy going after the candy!
What a cute Birthday Girl!
Then we came inside and had a little dance party!  We learned the 'Strawberry Shake' on Reagan's new Strawberry Shortcake Let's Dance video.
Reagan got to use the dance mat and we all just pretended to have one.
When the party was all said and done we asked Reagan, "What was your most favorite part about your birthday party?" she said "Dancing!"
Strawberry Shortcake (Elise) got hot after busting the pinata!  When she saw that the next activity was dancing she decided it was time to change out of the Strawberry shortcake outfit and put on something more comfortable.  When she came back in the room one little girl just stared at her and then finally said, "You're not Strawberry Shortcake!"  Elise said, "I know, I'm Reagan's cousin!"  This was all so confusing!  After the party the mom of this little girl told me that she came home from the party and told her that a 'pretend' Strawberry Shortcake was at the party!

Reagan opened up presents one at a time.  She got lots of really fun things!
I loved watching each girl give Reagan the gift they brought for her, almost as much as I enjoyed watching Reagan open them up!  They were all so very excited!
This is a dress that Grandma Adair sent all the way from Arizona!
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Reagan, Happy Birthday to you!  Now make a wish and blow out your candles!  She says, "I don't want to make a wish and I want you to help me blow out the candles."  So that's just what happened!  Hey, you got to do what the Birthday Girl wants, that's just the way it is!
So the party was a success!
From left to right:  Samantha, Vanessa, Strawberry Shortcake Elise, Callie, Birthday Girl Reagan, Nyah, Jane and Keagan.  What a bunch of cuteies!
Later David and I took Reagan out on her birthday date with just her mom and dad!  We went to Wingers for dinner and then to Walmart to pick out a treat to take to preschool the next day for her preschool birthday celebration.  While at Walmart Reagan found something to buy with her birthday money her Grandma Adair sent her.  Her very own i pod!  It's actually an MP3 player, but it looks like an i pod so it's an i pod to her!  She is thrilled with her new i pod!

Happy Birthday sweet little Reagan girl!
We love you!

Talan's Top 10!

10.  Watching T.V.!
Talan loves to watch the T.V.!  If you are sitting anywhere where he can see the T.V. he usually has his head turned watching.  Like father, like son!

9.  Sucking his Binky!
Talan is defiantly a binky boy!  It settles him right down, he loves it!  And I love it too!

8.  Diaper change.
Whenever Talan has his diaper changed he is full of smiles!  He just loves to be messed with!  Not to mention he loves to be free if you know what I mean!  I think that this is another one of those like father like son things!

7.  Bath Time!
Talan never cries during his bath.  He likes them!  After his bath he always enjoys a nice nap too!

6.  His hands.
His hands are always in his mouth these days.  If they aren't in his mouth then they are grabbing at something.  He is learning to work them and it fascinates  him for long periods of time.  It is very fun to watch his little mind work and learn!

5.  Tickles!
This kid is so ticklish!  When I take his onzie off he just laughs and laughs!  When I rub his arms real soft he laughs too!  I think that it is so cute!  Ticklish like his mother!

4.  Brothers and Sister!
Talan is a big fan of his siblings!  He loves to watch them, to be held by them and to be messed with. This is good because they love him!  They all want to be the one by him.  And every-night before going to bed they all take turns kissing him goodnight!

3.  Cuddled to sleep!
He loves to be wrapped up and cuddled!  I'm not sure if this is a good  thing since it usually requires me doing it, but he sure loves it!

2.  Daddies pat a cake!
David has a special way that he does pat a cake and Talan just loves it!  I tried to do it and it just doesn't work.  I'm not daddy!  Pat a cake is daddies special thing!

1.  MOMMY!
Right now Talan is a mommies boy!  He just lights up when he  sees me and I love it!  I think that for right now, I'm #1!

May Day, May Day!

It's May 1st and we have woken up to snow AGAIN!  Everyone tells us that this is unusual weather for Utah.  I don't think that we have experienced normal Utah weather since we have lived here.  The first year it was extremely cold without a lot of snow, and then this year it has snowed and snowed and snowed, and it just doesn't seem to want to stop!  It's that dang Global Warming!

My sick cough!

The other day Reagan told us that she was sick.
She said "Do you know why I'm sick?"
We said "No, Why are you sick?"
She said "My cough!  My cough has sick in it!"

I love it!  Children have the best ways of describing life!  Anyways, Reagan may have had a small cold or possibly some allergies, but she isn't really sick!  At least not today!

Reagan has a 4th birthday coming up on monday.  We are going to have a Strawberry Shortcake party!  Yesterday we ran around town getting stuff for her party.  She is very opinionated about what she wants and who she wants to invite!   Our camera broke and we had to get a new one.  I am now learning how to work my new fancy camera.  So as soon as I learn how to get the pictures on the computer, I will post new pictures.  I am sure that we will have lots of pictures of the BIG Strawberry Shortcake party!

Our oldest son Ethan.

Ethan is our oldest son.  He is 10 years old and in the 4th grade.  He goes to Freedom Elementary School and his teacher is Mrs. Fredrickson.
He is really smart!  Ethan loves to read.  He has read book after book after book ever since he learned to read.  Maybe that's why he is so smart!
Ethan also loves to draw!  He has a creatures book filled with artwork of creatures that he has created.  He has named ever creature and knows them by name.  Ethan has an excellent imagination!
Ethan also loves the computer.  His favorite site is Clubpenguin.com.  He loves to check the computer first thing each morning.  He has created his own blog too!  It's www.ethanadair.blogspot.com.  He did it all by himself!  I'm telling you, this kid is good!  He can do anything he puts his mind to.
Ethan also loves small stuffed animals and small action figures.  Currently he loves Webkinz!  And he has always been a huge fan of Avatar the last Airbender.
Ethan has been taking karate for almost 2 years now.  He is a purple belt!  When you are a purple belt you can spar.  This is a picture of Ethan in his sparing gear getting ready to spar.
We have also discovered that Ethan is a good golfer.  David took him a few times last year and Ethan really liked it.  Ethan got his own set of clubs for Christmas and he looks forward to going golfing with his dad a lot more this year.  He is also signed up to take a golf class this summer.
In Cub Scouts, Ethan is a Webelo and his dad was just recently called to be the Webelo's den leader.  It should be fun for the two of them!
Ethan has a special relationship with both of his grandmothers.  He has bonded with both of them in a way unlike my other children.  He calls them all the time on the phone just to chat and tell them about things going on in his life.  They both think that world of him and I am very grateful for their love for him and their special bond they have with each other.
We are so lucky to have Ethan in our lives!  He is such a good kid!  He really has a tender heart and he really tries to do what's right.  He is a good big brother to all of his siblings and an excellent help to me especially with his new baby brother Talan!  He probably gets sick of me asking him to help me out all the time but he does it without complaint!  I think that Ethan is becoming more and more responsible everyday.  I am excited to watch him grow into a young man and see what he can become.  I know that he is going to do great things with his life!  He is an amazing person and I love him so much!  And I think that he loves me too!

Our Dog Teegs

This is our dog TEEGS!
We got Teegs from Petsmart's lost paws program almost two years ago.
He is a beautiful golden retriever and a really good dog!
We are NOT dog people...  Our kids have an unusual fear of dogs...
So why do we have a dog?  Good question!
This is a question that David and I have asked ourselves over and over again.  Originally we got Teegs because we thought that if we had a dog of our own than the kids would overcome their fear of dogs.  They would realize that dogs are good!  Did this happen? No!  However whenever we suggest getting rid of Teegs and giving him to another family who loves dogs, the kids cry "No, we like Teegs.  We will play with him.  Don't give him away!"  So Teegs stays!  I guess he is apart of our family.
In a stay outside kind of way!
It really is hard to look at him and not love him.  He's a good dog!

Quite the Hottie!

Reagan found a pair of sun glasses from her birthday party last year.
We thought we would put them on Talan to see how he looked in them.  Turns out that he's Quite the Hottie!
