All Stars Baseball!

The Highland/Ceder Hills
All Star Baseball Team.

Bradon was picked to play on the All Stars team this year.
(He is in the middle row, second in from the left.)

Bradon loves baseball and considered this an extra treat!
We of course were very proud of Bradon. He has a really good work ethic and ALWAYS gives it his all. He's a really good ball player and it's nice to have him recognized in such a way.
Bradon is a very consistent hitter and a clutch player. No matter the circumstance he doesn't get flustered and tends to always pull through.

One thing about Bradon and baseball is that HE GETS IT! His knowledge about the game and his mind quickness is really good. And I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom, he really is good!

One thing that David and I have really been impressed with is that Bradon doesn't act like he's all that. He's a great team player. He doesn't boast about his own stats or trash talk anyone. He just goes out there and gets it done. No matter what the coach wants of him, he never complains, begs, or puts up an attitude. He plays with a lot of class!

It was a lot of fun watching him play in the post season All Star tournament. His team ended up taking 4th place in the state. The final game was a long hard fought battle that could have gone either way. The boys gave it their all and had no reason to hang their heads down. We couldn't have been more proud of them.

Another special bonus to playing on the All Stars team was that his Grandma Adair, cousin Emma, and Grandma and Grandpa Haws all got to see him play.

We also discovered that one of his teammates is his 3rd cousin. At one of the games I got to talking with the guy next to me and it turns out he's my mothers 1st cousin Tom Arnett. His daughter and my 2nd cousin is Melanie Nelson, and her son and Bradon's 3rd cousin is Tanner Nelson. Oh it's a small world!
