We've lived in Utah for 5 years now and we have been to the Lehi Roundup Rodeo all 5 years! I think that makes it a FAMILY TRADITION!
We love the rodeo! This year the rodeo and Bradon and Carsten's All-Star tournament fell on the same weekend. We knew we didn't want to miss the rodeo so we spent the extra money to go on FULL PRICE Saturday night instead of FAMILY NIGHT Thursday were kids tickets are just $4.00 each. It was a splurge... But well worth it!
So this year after a long hot day of baseball games and Bradon winning his tournament we headed home to get ready for the rodeo. Grandma Adair come with us too! This was her second Lehi Roundup rodeo in a row!
Every year we have sat in the same section of the stands. We have always sat in the same couple of rows too! We think it's the best spot in the house! It's close to the front but not so close that the fence is in the way. It's right where the bucking shoots face. So when the horses and bulls come out of the shoot they seem to always come in our direction. It's even close enough so that when the clown wants to pick on someone in the audience to embarrass, it could actually end up being you! And one year he it was! He embarrassed David pretty good!
These rodeo guys are amazing!
Amazing and crazy all at the same time!
Every year they do like a little half time show with these motorcycle dudes! Now talk about CRAZY! These guys are insanely crazy!

AND TALAN LOVED THEM!
Those loud rumbling motorcycles come out and Talan's little heart screamed out "THIS IS AWESOME!" Or at least that's how I interpreted the look on his face!
To tell you the truth I kind of love it too! But never do I watch them without a little bit of fear in my heart! What they do is so dangerous! And scary! So a little FYI to my 4 sons.... You can love to WATCH it all you want, but don't ever think your going to DO IT ever! That and bull riding are 2 things I don't think my heart could handle!
And then finally the ladies took the show!
And last but not least the CRAZY BULL RIDERS! I don't know about you but bull riding is NOT on my bucket list! That is one thing I hope to never experience in this lifetime!
On Saturday night when the rodeo is over they let everyone come out into the arena and play. They had a DJ and line dancing. We didn't participate in the line dancing but the kids sure had fun running around in that soft dirt! Talan was in little boy heaven!
